Haven't seen the rest of the other months yet and the individual artist profile pictures. This year, the cover is no longer the Miss Hong Kong winners.

Blessing Ceremony for 'Gambler Yi'

Anne Heung, Linda Chung and Michael Tse attended the blessing ceremony for TVB's new series "Gambler Yi takes a Wife" and Anne was asked about the recent exposure of kissing and bed pictures between Erica Yuen and her boyfriend and whether these reports would affect the reputation of the Miss Hong Kong competition. She feels it is unrelated, but there is no need for girls to take this kind of photograph, regardless of whether they are in showbiz or not. She says that for two people to date, then it should be very sweet, but there will be arguments and splits and it is no wonder that photographs like this appear on the internet so often. She says: "I will never have these photos taken and even if my boyfriend asked for them, I would refused. The boyfriend should respect the wishes of the other person."

Although Linda grew up abroad, she is still very timid and reserved and she reveals that she does not have much experience with dating and the closest contact she has had with a boyfriend is to hold his arm, so she will not make this kind of momento. Also, with the recent reports of her watching Raymond changing his trousers, Linda jokes: "When do girls watch guys getting changed? It makes me sound so perverted! The next time I see Raymond, he will be joking about it so badly."

Sheren Tang has offered her support for Michael to win the Best Actor award this year and he says happily: "She is so kind! There are plenty of good looking and talented men in the company and I have never thought I would make the top five. I think I have more chance of getting a 'Favourite Character' award, but I am thankful for everyone's support. I also hope that 'La Femme Desperado' will win an award and Sheren will take the Best Actress award."

Anne Heung & TVB Artists At Lighting Ceremony

The lighting up ceremony and press conference was held yesterday, marking the start of TVB's 39th Anniversary celebrations at Tseung Kwan O's TVB City. Accompanied by Miss Hong Kong winner Aimee Chan, Sir Run Run Shaw was in high spirits as he took part in proceedings. With TVB Divas Liza Wang and Carol Cheng at his side, he lit up the stage and over a hundred artistes were present in an atmospheric occasion. Guest performers for the event were Leo Ku and Joey Yung.

At the main switch on, the front row of artistes were all female stars. On Liza Wang's side were Ada Choi, Melissa Ng, Sheren Tang, Niki Chow, Louisa So and Christine Ng. On Carol's side were Charmaine Sheh, Myolie Wu, Yoyo Mung, Bernice Liu, Linda Chung and Tavia Yeung. Bowie Lam and Roger Kwok were at the centre of the second row.

*Anne Heung was placed in the third row next to Shirley Yeung and Kate Tsui.

Anne Heung Filming a TVB Sales Presentation Clip

Ada Choi, Anne Heung, Shirley Yeung, Bernice Liu, Leanne Li and Joyce Koi donned some beautiful ancient costumes as they filmed a TVB sales presentation clip for "Exquisite Beauty" yesterday. They were joined by nearly forty extras who played their maids in a very grand display. Playing the role of Wang Hsi-Feng, Ada led the ladies in their procession and displayed the power of a leader with each movement.

Afterwards, Ada laughs that in real life she is actually very pure and innocnet and is not full of aggression. With this being the first time that most of the cast members had worked together and she was regarded as a 'senior', she laughs: "No, don't say that. We are all around the same age and you can say I am a predecessor in the Miss Hong Kong contest, but in age terms, I might even be younger than them. However, I am very happy to film this clip because we all got on straight away."

During filming, Bernice was able to cry on cue and this is because she has had plenty of crying scenes in her latest series "Murder City Plot". She says: "Almost every day I have to cry and it makes me like a crybaby. (Would you like to work with Ada?) Of course!" Anne loves filming ancient series because they are more dramatic: "When you wear the ancient costume, then then it is easier to get into character. Although I know Ada very well, we have never worked together, but I think working with her will be very pleasant."

Shirley was very pleased with her ancient look for the shoot and was snapping away with her camera together with the other cast. She says she likes Ada a lot and hopes to work with her: "Ada has a different character in each role she takes and changes a lot. I would like to work with her and learn from her. However, playing the villain is not easy at all and I did this in 'Operation Breakthrough' earlier. Just understanding the character was very difficult and I ended up breaking out in spots because of the stress." She says that she has been to see the Western doctor and although it has improved, the medication makes her skin very dry, so she is considering trying a Chinese herbalist instead.

Shirley has put on a little weight because she has been eating a lot lately, despite working every day. She says: "I eat five meals a day now - breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper. I don't know if it is because I am filming an ancient series so it is not as obvious but I have to be careful."
